By visiting the tab “Meet the Collective”, we welcome you to view each member’s bio to get a sense of what we do. Each provider may work with an agency and/or works within their own private practice. Each of our members endeavors to provide services that are affordable, effective, and collaborative. Please contact the member directly for more details about how they can best meet your needs.
Since the onset of the pandemic, all our therapists have worked diligently to adapt their practices to provide services virtually or by phone in some way. Their virtual capacity varies from profession to profession, so we invite you to contact us individually to find out more.
One of the Collective’s primary goals is to collaborate with other mental health organizations in Ottawa to be able to integrate any combination of complementary therapies that would best suit the population that is being served. We honour the many organizational successes that already exist in our community, while also acknowledging the gaps in which some complimentary therapies may be able to offer therapeutic value. In this same vein, we would be very excited to participate in any research projects that would have the potential to showcase the therapeutic value of combining Western medicine and non-conventional therapies in order to optimize mental health from a whole body approach.
As an integrative mental health collective, we would be honoured to offer presentations and workshops to other groups or organizations to share potential synergies that could be meaningful. In some cases, there are also opportunities to experience the work that we do in a group setting.
Another way to work with us is to become a member of the Collective. A time commitment is required as there are monthly meetings for example, as well as a financial investment to contribute to the maintenance of our website as well as other small projects that are in the works. Please contact our founder, Laurie-Anne Muldoon, firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
You can also consider volunteering with the collective if you have a special skill, talent or even time that you would like to donate.
